KoffeePhoto extends its photo sharing to online communities

Köln, Germany – September 23rd, 2008 – KoffeeWare today announced an extension to the KoffeePhoto photo sharing service with the introduction of Communities.

KoffeePhoto Communities allows for creation of thematic photo centric communities. To achieve this goal, a KoffeePhoto community consists of a collection of moderated photo albums. KoffeePhoto users can easily create and/or subscribe to communities and publish a selection of their albums to these communities. Within a KoffeePhoto community, users can interact by browsing photos, adding comments and reading other people’s comments.

Communities can be public or hidden. Public communities are included in a portal for browsing the existing communities and may be indexed by search engines. Hidden communities are designed for photo sharing in the private scope. More, KoffeePhoto Communities can be easily embedded to any web site.

KoffeePhoto mobile photo sharing allows KoffeePhoto users to access and share photo albums on their mobile phone. Storage is free and unlimited thanks to KoffeePhoto’s unique private distributed storage technology. Photo albums are available anytime anywhere. Pictures can be viewed interactively or using full screen streamed slide-shows. The size of the screen is automatically detected in order to maximize the display and optimize the file download.

Strasbourg, France – March 15th, 2007 – Sticking to the strategy of providing a universal access to pictures, KoffeeWare launches today My KoffeePhoto Frame available as a Netvibes widget. My KoffeePhoto Frame brings display of pictures stored on the KoffeePhoto right into the Netvibes framework. KoffeePhoto users can now benefit from viewing shared pictures within My KoffeePhoto Frames on their Netvibes desktop.

My KoffeePhoto Frame allows to display a reduced size slide-show of pictures from a specified KoffeePhoto photo album or from a set of albums. Download and install the module, enter your KoffeePhoto login information, specify which albums to display and off you go! Of course, at any time, you can access the album of the picture displayed.

My KoffeePhoto Frame widget for Netvibes can be downloaded from Netvibes Ecosystem. A demo mode is included. To display your own pictures, you will need to run the KoffeePhoto Desktop edition and create your own account.
