Founded in October 2005 and privately held, KoffeeWare develops and provides cutting edge technologies and solutions dedicated to online photofinising services such as photofinishers, pure players or any web site requiring some photo file management capabilities.

Including synchronization of contents, online editing, sharing, online backup, online photobook creation and ordering of photofinishing products these solutions range from simple modules for non specialized sites to provide a specific functionality to a complete solution to take care all aspects of an online photofinishing service, both front-office as well as back-office.

These solutions also address needs of non photofinishing web sites where simple thus advanced photo related functionalities such as running photo sharing communites are needed. Any kind of web service may benefit from KoffeeWare’s products.

With continuous contacts with the photography industry, the KoffeeWare team is close to the needs of the market and is able to provide forward looking solutions.

KoffeeWare has received various distinctions for its innovative technologies and is backed by public innovation supporting funds such as OSEO and private investors such as the Grenoble Angels.

The team

The KoffeeWare team is organized around three key persons:

  • Gilles Pommereuil, 34, president and founder of KoffeeWare, ENSIMAG engineer. In 1999, Gilles cofounded Arturia, a musical software development company, where he worked as technical director between 1999 and 2004. Arturia now employs 15 people and exports its products in over 25 countries. Gilles works as technical director at KoffeeWare.
  • Carl Conrad, 44, sales and marketing director, previously worked as a audio over network product manager at Digigram. Carl also runs his own company. Carl manages administrative and financial aspects.
  • Cédric Rossi, 33, software developer, was involved in the development of numerous mainstream software products: Virtual Skipper, M-Audio Torq (virtual DJ), Limouzik. Cédric is in charge of the architecture and the server side software developments at KoffeeWare.
